Bringing together one of the world’s great classic plays with one of Ireland’s greatest writers, Druid will present Tom Murphy’s version of Chekhov’s masterpiece The Cherry Orchard at Black Box Theatre, Galway and Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin and it will be screened at Mayo Movie World on Thursday, March 5 at 7pm.

DRUID THEATRE'S artist development programme, FUEL, now in its sixth year, announced on Tuesday the recipients of the 2019/2020 bursary. The selected artists are Annie Keegan, Claire Mullane, Johanne Webb, and Barry Cullen.

Druid Theatre Company was founded in May 1975 with the initial aim of providing theatre entertainment for tourists in Galway.
